Why take a class with Sara?

  • All supplies used in class are included! No need to spend $$ on supplies just to take a course or workshop. (Though you'll probably want to get your own to continue at home.)

  • No two classes are alike! We complete a different painting in each class. So whether you're a repeat student or a newbie, you'll paint something new.

  • Classes are customized  to your levels. We show how to make each step harder or easier.

  • Classes are kept small for more one-on-one time.

Creativity is inventing experimenting, frowning, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes and having fun.

We take every measure to ensure your safety at this time.

We have a max of 6 students per class.

All supplies and equipment is sanitized each class.

Watercolour and Drawing

Learn a wide variety of skills and techniques through practical application. The first class will cover the basics of drawing and then you will complete one new step-by step painting per class. This is a class designed to teach you the most techniques and skills in the shortest amount of time. The classes are very organized and encouraging and they are kept small so that Sara can custom fit the course to each student’s skill level. Making it perfect for beginners to intermediate painters. All supplies used in class are included.

Examples of paintings completed in each 2 hour class.

No one teacher can help you with everything you need to become a great artist. I highly recommend taking many classes from different teachers.

Creating life-giving Art is 50% mindset and 50% technique specialty—the ability to speak the language of the medium you are working on. You may have the best painting technique in the world, but if you don't have the courage to create, and the self compassion to deal with the failure and unexpected you will not get far. If you don't know who you are or what you want to say, the ability to speak is useless. Here are some books I recommend on your journey in the arts.

Self Compassion by Kristin Neff
Power of Vulnerablity by Brene Brown
Emotional Agility by Susan David
Daring Greatly by Brene Brown
Essentialism by Greg Mckeown
7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey
Art and Fear
by David Bayles and Ted Orland
